| Looking cute right? |
So now the kittens are being let out alot more, we've noticed that McGee tends to want to run to the end of the garden path, after his first night of getting lost and a search party being sent, and he tends not to go any further. Timmy on the other hand will wander and wander till he gets scared, or bored, and then he will find his way home, and jump on the door till we open it. For some reason McGee will scratch at the door, but timmy jumps up, and gets his claws into the rubber, and proceeds to bite the door handle. Of all the times he's done this, by the time I get the Blackberry ready to take a photo he jumps off grrrrr!
Anyway I digress. A few nights ago we noticed that after Timmy had wet our bedding whilst sat on the bed, and over the next few days he'd wet the cat bed, and the new larger cat bed we'd brought them. Having looked around online for some answers, we're in the middle of trying to locate the problem, but the last 2 or 3 times, have coincided with Timmy coming back from a long walk, where he tends to visit a garden with the house next door to a large dog, and I'm not sure if he's been scared by the barking or not, but yesterday I didn't let him out, and it he used the cat litter, so I'm not sure if the 2 are linked or not. Suppose keeping him indoors for a few days, no matter how much he whines and cries will enable us to see if he's been scared or stressed whilst walking out.

I'm also making a larger effort to make sure the cat litter is as tidy as it can be, altho when me and Claire are working days it's hard to keep clean! Anyone got any other ideas as to what may be causing this, short of a visit to the vets if it carries on to rule out
Urinary Tract Infection
They really look cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about the 'peeing' problem. I don't think it's because he's scared when he goes outdoors, it might be 'urolithiasis'. Does he drink enough?
